Lucain supports NRGI’s Francophone Africa extractives knowledge hub, as well as regional and country programs.

Prior to joining NRGI, Lucain was the executive director of Transparency International Cameroon. There, he spent over seven years promoting good governance and the fight against corruption in his country.

Lucain holds a master’s degree in international relations from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria. He is also an alumnus of the International Visitor Leadership Program, sponsored by the U.S. State Department.
