Mamadou is based in NRGI’s Dakar office and oversees NRGI’s work in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Guinea and Senegal.

Prior to joining NRGI Mamadou worked as the executive director of Forum Civil (the Senegalese national chapter of Transparency International) and as the program coordinator of the Goree Institute. He has led many electoral assistance programs in countries throughout Africa.

Mamadou is the author of several books dealing with governance and electoral issues. He holds a graduate certificate in international relations, a postgraduate diploma in economics and an advanced diploma in political science.
