Matteo is based in London and works on NRGI’s capacity development portfolio, with a particular focus on NRGI’s global academic partnerships and online training courses. Matteo works with both NRGI’s capacity development colleagues and the legal and economics team.
Prior to joining NRGI, he worked for a Japanese fintech company, leading on overseas business development and overseeing market expansion projects in Southeast Asia and East Africa. Matteo has also worked as a capacity building and training associate for the Asian Development Bank Institute in Tokyo, Japan.
He holds a master of arts from the International Christian University in Tokyo, Japan, and a bachelor of science from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. Matteo speaks Italian, English, French and Spanish.
