Nasir leads NRGI’s legal reform and policy advocacy agenda in Ghana.
Prior to joining NRGI, Nasir was a senior associate consultant at Ali-Nakyea & Associates, where he provided legal advice and consultancy to oil, gas and mining companies, and evaluated extractive sector projects. Before that, Nasir worked as a policy analyst with the Africa Centre for Energy Policy, holding senior management and advisory positions.
Nasir currently serves as a member of Ghana’s Public Interest and Accountability Committee and has co-authored peer-reviewed papers on energy and natural resource governance published in global journals.
Nasir holds an LLM in petroleum law and policy from the University of Dundee, a QCL from the Ghana School of Law, and an LLB and a B.A. in political science from the University of Ghana.
