Prior to joining NRGI, Sandra worked as regional administrator with international NGOs and developed administrative, financial and management solutions. The experience of working with international organizations (Oxfam America, Save the Children Fund-UK, Ayuda en Acción and ITDG) allowed Sandra to work in multicultural environments shaped by the interchange of experiences and information with colleagues in many different countries. At the same time, Sandra learned a great deal about programs developed by these institutions on human rights, indigenous peoples and extractive industries.
