Sarah conducts research on perspective funders, manages grants and engages with key institutional funding partners. Before joining the fundraising team, Sarah was a program and administrative assistant at NRGI, working closely with NRGI’s senior management team and acting as a board liaison.

Prior to joining NRGI, Sarah served as a consultant, research assistant and intern for Bioversity International in Malaysia, Uganda and Italy; a publicity assistant for Cursive Communications and Marketing; and an intern for Tom Malinowski’s U.S. congressional campaign. She has also held a variety of volunteer positions including for Food and Water Watch and Healthy Acadia, and on an organic farm in Hawaii.

Sarah received a B.A. at Colby College with a major in environmental policy and a minor in anthropology. There, she was the recipient of the F. Russell Cole Student Research Fellowship Grant in Environmental Studies and worked as a senior fellow in the office of admissions. She speaks and writes basic French.
