Zola supports NRGI’s Mongolia strategy implementation, with a focus on areas including EITI, data analysis and fiscal policy.
Prior to joining NRGI, Zola worked for EITI’s Mongolia office, providing support at a subnational level. She was responsible for coordinating and managing the pilot communications program, analyzing EITI data to raise awareness of developments in the extractive sector and working closely with civil society members. Zola has worked extensively in mining governance and policy and program implementation with EITI and Adam Smith International. She also spent several years with Chemonics on the key economic policy reform project in Mongolia, funded by USAID.
Zola holds a master’s degree in international and development economics from the Australian National University. She obtained her bachelor’s degrees in mathematical statistics and business administration from Mongolian universities.
