Ghanaian Government Commits to Full-Text Disclosure of All Petroleum Contracts

Ghana’s government will develop a publicly available petroleum register containing the full text of all petroleum agreements, licenses, permits and authorizations, a government minister said.

2017 Resource Governance Index Now Online
NRGI has unveiled the 2017 Resource Governance Index, which assesses the governance of oil, gas and mining in 81 countries. In addition to English, the index is available in Arabic, French, Russian and Spanish. Sixty-six countries were found to be weak, poor or failing in their governance of extractive industries, and the index data led researchers to six concrete recommendations.
