The Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS), in partnership with the South African Institute of International Affairs (SAIIA) and Mining Shared Value, is hosting this workshop focusing on emerging issues in extractive industry local content debates, specifically questions around using local procurement to improve environmental outcomes, and transparency. It will feature a preview of NRGI's work on corruption risks around suppliers and subcontractors in the extractive sector, presented by NRGI's Kaisa Toroskainen
