Energy Economics: Impact of Global Decisions on the Heavy Oil Sector

With many oil producing countries, especially in the Middle East, are preparing for a less oil dependent future. There is a change in national policies and strategies in the region, creating a ripple effect on global policies and the future of many economies, especially those of emerging countries. NRGI Middle East and North Africa director Laury Haytayan spoke on a panel at the World Heavy Oil Congress and Exhibition with Mustafa Ansari, a senior economist with APICORP session.
