Roundtable Discussion: How to Ensure Good Governance of State-Owned Enterprises

The objective of this session is to discuss actions governments must take to establish well-operated state-owned enterprises (SOEs) in the extractive sector. Speakers will discuss best practices and challenges in managing SOEs, and how to build attractive investment climates. Participants will further discuss recommendations for effective governance of SOEs.
NRGI’s president and CEO Daniel Kaufmann will speak at this session, along with representatives of the Ukrainian government, Naftogaz, the EBRD, EITI and others.
