MyanmarThis panel discussion—part of the second edition of the PhotoJourn Festival—will held at the Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication, Thammasat University, and will highlight the need for transparency in Myanmar’s oil, gas and mining industries. The issue is not only an environmental and human rights priority, but also hugely important economically. The panel will feature NRGI’s Ko Ko Lwin, as well as photographer Suthep Kritsanavarin, who contributed images to NRGI’s 2015 Myanmar extractives photo project.
The same topic is explored at a photography exhibition at Santichaiprakarn Park, using images from the NRGI project.
