NRGI and consultant Ramón Olivas have worked on two monitoring reports that assess the transparency practices of Mexico’s National Hydrocarbons Commission (CNH).

The first report focuses on the transparency of the licensing phase for bidding round 2.1. The second report assesses the advancements in contract management for the blocks awarded during bidding round 1.

The presentation was led by Olivas, with short talks from CNH commissioner-president Juan Carlos Zepeda and interventions from NRGI’s president and CEO Daniel Kaufmann, Latin America director Carlos Monge and Latin America program assistant Alonso Hidalgo.

The presentation will be held at CNH’s offices (Av. Patriotismo 580, Colonia Nonalco, CDMX) on Tuesday July 31, at 5 p.m. Mexico City time (6 p.m. EDT).
