NRGI has supported four members of the Publish What You Pay (PWYP) Data Working Group for the Eurasia region from Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic and Ukraine to conduct research using data on extractive industries disclosed as a result of the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI) in each of the countries.

This regional event, organized by NRGI and PWYP, provided a platform for PWYP members to share and discuss the outcomes from analysis of country-specific extractives data. Participants had a unique opportunity to learn and ask questions about four different research projects by PWYP members implemented with close support from NRGI. The webinar was moderated by Galib Efendiev, Eurasia Director at NRGI.

The webinar was in Russian language with simultaneous translation into English.

Featuring:

Danila Bekturganov, President, Civil Expertise, Kazakhstan
Mariya Lobacheva, Program Director, ECHO, Kazakhstan
Mirlan Dyikanbayev, PWYP Kyrgyzstan coalition, Kyrgyzstan
Iryna Kuropas, Local Economic Development Agency of Yavoriv District, Ukraine

Moderator: Galib Efendiev, Eurasia Director, NRGI
