Anna Cartagena
Communications Officer, Latin America
Anna is based in Lima and supports and positions the work of NRGI’s Latin America program using a range of communications approaches.
Prior to joining NRGI she worked as an editor, content manager and strategist in print and digital media, and conducted communications for different projects at local, nacional and internacional projects in Latin America.
Anna won awards for her journalism at Reportaje sobre Biodiversidad (Conservation International Peru) and holds a B.A. in social communications, with a journalism specialty, from Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, Peru; and M.A.s in political ecology, degrowth and environmental justice and audiovisual communication content and publicity from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, Spain. She speaks Spanish, English, French and some Catalan.
