As a staff member of the USAID TRACES program in Senegal, Asna promotes learning, expertise and the building of bodies of evidence that drive impact in natural resource governance. She coordinates and supports USAID TRACES-related projects, engaging NRGI and partner teams for maximum impact. Additionally, she contributes to the program’s donor relations, delivering mutual value and generating sustainable funding.

Before joining NRGI, Asna worked as a project manager at Enda Lead in Senegal’s extractive sector. She also coordinated the Senegalese Ethical Actors and Leaders (SEAL) project on female leadership.

Asna graduated from Amadou Ba Hampaté University in Dakar with a master’s degree in public management and international relations. She has also obtained certifications from the René Cassin Foundation – International Institute of Human Rights.
