Marie is based in Dakar and supports NRGI's Senegal team in managing all administrative, logistics and finance tasks.

Before joining NRGI, Marie worked on various projects for organizations promoting social and economic development. She served as an accountant for the PASC project, financed by the European Union and implemented by Publish What You Pay Senegal. She also supported the technical secretariat of Citoyens Actifs pour la Justice Sociale in implementing various projects related to gender and the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI), social bonds, deal disclosure and equality.

As an activist for social justice, Marie is dedicated to promoting active citizenship of youth and women in the governance of public goods and natural resources. She is also an alternate member of the multistakeholder group of the EITI in Senegal. 

Marie holds a master's degree in audit and management control and is an alumna of the CEGIEAF program in Yaoundé.
