Pedro supports the implementation of NRGI's project to promote economic and climate justice and the governance of transition minerals in Chile, with a focus on lithium.

During his decade-long public sector career, Pedro held positions in Chile's Ministry of Mining and Ministry of Justice and Human Rights. He also played an important role as a legislative advisor in the Chilean Chamber of Deputies, working on various commissions, including the Mining and Natural Resources Commission. As a public administration professional he played a key role in promoting citizen participation, the reintegration of people deprived of their liberty and international cooperation.

Pedro holds a degree in business administration design. Additionally, he has studied law and is experienced in institutional conflict resolution, corporate affairs, and international public affairs.
