Oulimata Diakhoumpa, based in Senegal, oversees NRGI’s financial and operational functions in Francophone Africa, and manages the finance and operations of the USAID TRACES program. She serves as the key focal point for the region within the operations team.

Oulimata has over seven years of experience in finance, audit, internal control and grants management roles. Prior to joining NRGI, she held positions in France, including operational risk analyst at BNP Paribas and financial auditor at Mazars. Returning to her native Senegal in 2020, she assumed the role of senior internal auditor at FREE before transitioning to the non-profit sector in 2022, joining the NGO GRET’s Senegal office as finance and administration manager.

Oulimata holds a master’s in corporate finance from the Grande Ecole of NEOMA Business School in France. Additionally, she has an MBA in banking and corporate finance from IMT Hyderabad, India.

During her studies, Oulimata volunteered with SOS Children’s Villages in Senegal. She is also a certified internal auditor and is fluent in French, English and Wolof.
